Kathryn Bradley is a choral director, singer and conductor based in Manchester, with a wide range of communication and leadership skills and a passion for high-quality, accessible music-making.

She holds a BMus (Hons) from the University of Manchester, where she studied voice under Andrew Heggie and conducting under Robert Guy. Her work spans cathedral music, community choirs, schools singing programmes and outreach, including weekly choir workshops in a women's prison with Sing Inside.

Kathryn holds ABRSM Grade 8 qualifications in singing, piano and viola, the ABRSM Choral Leadership award (Level 3), and is a member of the Association of British Choral Directors. She works in English and French.

2025 – Present

Head of Schools Singing Programme

Leading a Diocese-wide programme of whole-class singing across state primary and secondary schools, managing a team of choral directors, and directing multiple choirs at Salford Cathedral.

Bollington Singers

2025 – Present

Musical Director

Conducting all rehearsals and concerts, leading mainly from the piano, and programming all repertoire, including “Voices of the Peaks”, a premiere project performed at the Buxton International Festival.

Sing Inside

2025 – Present

Workshop Leader

Programming and leading weekly choir rehearsals in a women's prison, with rehearsals recorded for CD release. Music-making where it matters most.

The Lindow Singers

2022 – 2025

Musical Director

Conducted and programmed all rehearsals and concerts, booked soloists and guest performers, and worked with trustees on the choir's long-term vision.
